This is a result of slapping me with a tag when I unwittingly posted on what was apparently a meme. So you shall be subject to my HORRIBLE OC UNCREATIVITY!

Also, I have no current images of these characters. I'll fix this... really. ;__;

1) how you thought of their name
2) what made you create the character in the first place
3) how the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
4) any random fun fact about that character

Spirith Darkstar
1) Lamest name ever spawned. It's "spirit" with an "h" tacked on the end. The last name... is obvious.
2) Ok, to know why I created him(/her/it), I would have to go way back to elementary school where my persona thing was still in wild fluctuation an part of a giant group of semi elemental "guardians". Yes, it was a lame time. In brief, I got bored by the current "bad guy" and converted him to a "good guy" and created what would eventually become the Spirith Darkstar that we all know and love(?) today. After much character development, that is.
3) Oh, has Spirith changed. He went from being a simple spirit of evil inhabiting my persona's body to being a (mostly) snide, sarcastic, willy, but usually good intentioned embodiment of chaos. Go me.
4) Spirith actually has a "son" of sorts, the only survivor of a massive war between forces. The son is also the general of all of Spirith's forces. And yes, the son's name is Chaos (pronounced Kah•ose).
Also, being the embodiment of chaos, every aspect of Spirith will fluctuate randomly. Since this is hard to draw, though, it probably won't come up in pictures much...

Vie
1) It means "life" in french. Vie's real name is not bound by earthen characters and is effectively unpronounceable.
2) I have this horrible habit of inserting fan characters into every stupid video game I play or show I watch on a regular basis. It's horrible, I know. Anyway, that's what Vie originally was, and for the most part still is. However, since I also tend to refuse to draw the characters from said videogame/show out of respect (read: fear of messing up), Vie never got drawn with her pre-made counterparts. So, she developed into something a bit more.
3) Vie, being relatively new, hasn't changed that much (especially compared with Mr. "I've existed since 5th grade" Darkstar). Her coloration is still up in the air, though.
4) Vie is the basis of the "Book Sprite" species. [link]

Seleph
1) Short for Selephnir, the name of Odin's eight-legged horse of AWESOMENESS. When you steal names, steal from the best. :>
2) Even more than I create lame rip-off characters from video games, I day dream and create my own (sort of?) stories. Character can go nearly the entire story without being named though. Anyway, Seleph was the result of one such day dream about the adventures of an eight-legged deer/fox thing and a human farm boy. Sadly, I don't think said farm boy has a name, or he'd be up here. x3
3) Even newer than Vie, Seleph has barely changed at all.
4) Seleph is one of my many "chimeric" creations, essentially a hodgepodge of creatures mixed in a blender. I generate more creatures that way...

Lancelot; "Lan" or "Lance" to his friends
1) Again, a ripped off name, this time from Arthurian legend, or more precisely...
2) Spamalot. I had that silly "His Name is Lancelot" song stuck in my head one day and one thing lead to another. I daydreampt up a story about a young knight/soldier who becomes oddly infatuated with one of his peers (who he assumes is male) and believes himself to be gay. Said peer, however, is, in fact, a female in disguise a la Mulan, but is in the army for different reasons. Yes, I'll steal from anyone. :>
3) Lance's species has changed (story stuff, it's... complex?) but other than that, not much else has.
4) Lance is the only male character who was imagined before his female counterpart was. My mind is saturated in hormones. T__T
